Lower Limb Course
This course will comprehensively cover all key areas: the hip, thigh, knee, lower leg, ankle joint, and foot. During the course, we will discuss both common issues and more complex clinical conditions that therapists encounter.
- Runner’s knee: a common issue among physically active people, causing pain on the outer side of the knee, especially after prolonged running or walking.
- Snapping hip: Characterized by a snapping or clicking sensation in the hip during movement, sometimes annoying but not always painful.
- Sciatic-type pain: Includes lateral thigh pain and different forms of sciatica, where pain radiates down the leg due to nerve compression.
- Jumper’s knee: An overuse injury of the patellar tendon, causing pain at the front of the knee, common in people who do a lot of jumping or running.
- Foot and lower leg issues: This includes shin splints, Achilles tendon inflammation, heel spurs, and Morton’s neuroma, all of which can affect mobility and comfort.
